Description

The Spirit-led organization, Friends and Fellowship (and its Intentional Living and Intuitive Arts Fairs), provides readers, vendors, practitioners, and speakers with a comfortable place from which to reach out to the public and makes alternative sources of information easily accessible to the public.

Typically at a fair you will find psychics, practitioners, and vendors providing intuitive card / tarot readings, channeling, energy work (Reiki, Quantum-Touch, The Defusion Process and others), crystals, pendulums, aura work / photography, jewelry, astrological information, art, angel / spirit guide connections, nutritional information, maybe palmistry, runes, or dream work, FREE speakers--AND MORE!

Click on the PHOTOS or PHOTO GALLERY links above for pictures representing some of the next fair participants.

Profile and Credentials

Inspired in early 2003, two intuitively-aware women formed Friends and Fellowship intending to make alternative sources for connecting with Spirit easily accessible to the public. Rather than recreating the wheel, in addition to listening to Spirit, the women sought the guidance of others with promoting experience.

Following Friends and Fellowship's first events in Anacortes, a Conscious Living and Psychic Fair was staged there in June, and another one in Bellingham in July. Later, by request, a fair was added in Everett. Early in 2006 the event name became Intentional Living and Intuitive Arts Fairs.

Now these medium-small Intentional Living and Intuitive Arts Fairs occur on carefully selected dates, usually once per quarter, in Bellingham and Everett, and occasionally on Whidbey Island.

Philosophy and Comments

Reflecting over the years it is seen that the Friends and Fellowship Intentional Living and Intuitive Arts Fairs have become a balanced mix of returning participants (readers, vendors, practitioners and speakers) and new ones.

Attendance at the fairs varies, of course, with the overall experience being growth. It has been observed that fair-attendees tend to stay at these fairs for many hours while they experience various services and products.

The fairs enjoy repeat visits from fair-attendees, who come to see specific participants and to see who and what is new, and people attracted by the advertising and street signs.

Return visits are also encouraged by the Client Appreciation Card program. Buy 12 readings and / or energy work sessions and your 13th one is FREE.

New in 2008:
Would you like to contact someone between events that you met at an Intentional Living and Intuitive Arts Fair, but you do not have their contact information, and they are not listed for another event yet?
Or, would you like to experience someone new?

General participant information for all fairs: Options for participation are based on the amount of space required. Space is linear, not a booth. "Usual" depth is about three feet between the wall and the wall side of your table. Extra depth is only occasionally available. As many chairs as you wish are available at no additional cost. Electricity is also readily available at no additional cost--you may need an extension cord though and tape...

Following registration, you select your space from the event floor plan on a first-requested first-reserved basis. To do so, click on the word PHOTOS at the top of this page. Then in the top right corner use the drop-down arrow to go to the Floor Plans gallery and follow the three steps.

Individuals wishing to speak during one of the fairs pay a $20.00 fee for either a 25 or 55 minute slot. Speakers supply information at least three weeks before a fair for the notice that is emailed to the public and posted at the fair.

Participants only pay one fee. The Friends and Fellowship philosophy includes that the registration charge covers costs of the venue, advertising, and general expenses; as independent business people, participants set their own fees for products and services and keep all they earn.

Advertising: Friends and Fellowship advertises in local newspapers and publications (like voiceofchoices.org), gets mentioned on the radio, posts flyers "all over" and to many places on the internet (for example, BodyMindSpiritDIRECTORY.org), calls / emails / texts previous attendees, and puts out street signs the day of a fair. As independent business people, you are expected (even if you are coming from far, far away to participate) to do your part in getting the word out by contacting your associates / lists about an event at which you are a reader, vendor, practitioner or speaker. Tell everyone you know because you never know who knows someone who knows someone, etc. Generally, people you know will come to see you and may visit someone "new" to them, too. In the same way, people who come in to see someone else may also visit you. It takes all of us working together to make a fair a success.

********THREE BONUS ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES**********

1) The first thirteen vendors, readers or practitioners to register for a fair AND provide a bit (averaging 50 words total) of information about themselves / their product / modality, are listed in the preview for the fair for which they registered. The previews are found in the next sections of this web page.
(Email your info, please, to fellowship92003@yahoo.com)

2) Those who also email a picture / logo / illustration in .jpg form are included in the PHOTOS area of this web page and

3) in the announcement about the fair emailed to the public.

These advertising opportuities are first-come-first-served: if you don't see 13 participants listed in the preview for a fair, email yours!

Note: In each fair's approximately six week cycle, some participants will register as late as within the two weeks preceeding a fair, while others will have registered months in advance / or paid for the year in advance.

2008 Bellingham and Everett Participation Information

The 2008 Friends and Fellowship Bellingham and Everett Intentional Living and Intuitive Arts Fairs
will have the same fee schedule.

Fairs will be open to the public from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The doors will be open for set-up from 10:00 am; pack-up, obvious signs of which does not begin until 5:00, ends at 6:00 pm for Bellingham and at 5:30 pm for Everett. Please leave your space as clean as you found it. Waste baskets are always available.
EVERYONE: Please only use purple or blue painter's tape for hanging things on a wall. Also, in the morning you may park as near to the door as possible to unload your supplies or product; however, when you are finished move your vehicle so potential clients / customers will have the easiest access to the fair.

ATTENTION 2008 EVERETT FAIR NOTE: The people we have been working with at the Monte Cristo sold their business to Clipper Cove Catering (clippercovecatering.com). Thankfully, the Clipper Cove Catering people are going to continue to work generously with Friends and Fellowship. However, as a catering business their interests are somewhat different than those of the previous owners. As a result, all food and beverages on site will have to be purchased through Clipper Cove Catering. At this time we are not interested in that level of service from them, so participants will either have to go out for meals and beverages or, if you bring your own, eat and drink them out of the Ballroom / Meeting Room we are renting. The microwave is not available but a water station will be. I thank you in advance for understanding these changes and look forward to this new relationship developing over time.

Early registration opportunities for all fairs are from November 2007 through the Saturday three weeks before an event. A $15.00 increase will apply for registrations received from the Sunday three weeks before an event until the Friday before an event. Of course, very last minute registration depends on space being available.

Provide own table, up to 5' long - $70.00**
Provide own table, up to 6' long - $80.00**

Rent 2, 6' x 30" tables - $135.00** (12' space)

**A $15.00 increase will apply for registrations received from the Sunday three weeks before an event until the Friday before an event.

To register you may mail a check, payable to Frances Juanita (address at top of page) or call 425-252-0439 or 206-679-0316 for credit or debit cards.

Note: Registration fees are used for administrative costs as they occur, so fee refunds are not possible. In the event of an emergency (a serious car accident, a death in the family, hospitalization, etc.) you may be able to apply a portion of the fee you paid to a later event.
